Before we talk about Java Island, we will tell you about Indonesia, first. Indonesia is a beautiful country, located at equator. Peoples called Indonesia as Archipelago. Because it consist more than 16.000 Island. Indonesia have five large islands, Sumatera, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Irian Jaya. Another smaller is Bali, Sumbawa, Halmahera, Batam, Biak, Natuna, etc.

Indonesia consist more than 10 Etnics and etnical languages. But they have unity language called Indonesia language. More than 200 millions citizen, with different culture, is one from much of interesting items.

Indonesia have long history. Pithecantropus Erectus, and Homo Wajakensis, is an original inlander fossil. Founded in Java by Dutch archeolog. It provide if Indonesia history started more than 100.000 years ago. The Empire Age maybe started at 1st century A.D. But the inscription track, is founded around A.D. 450. The great imperium in first era is founded in Java called Tarumanegara, and in Kalimantan called Kutai.

The great historical imperium at second era was founded in Java. That is Syailendra Empire, the Borobudur Temple builder. And Majapahit Empire, that claimed suzerainty more large than Indonesia territory present day.

Third era is an Islamic imperium and Europe colonial. Started from Sumatera by (Samudera Pasai imperial), to Java (Banten, Demak, Mataram), and spread to kalimantan (Banjar), Sulawesi (Makassar) and Maluku (Ternate Sultanate). This era is still growth, until Portuguese invade to search spice.
